Lynsey has been involved with The Creative
Bride since 2009 when she met Kim (owner and creative director), who was decorating a wedding at The Elora
Mill, where Lynsey was working at the time. Lynsey was the Catering Manager, and the two immediately hit it off! Kim introduced Lynsey to the décor
side of weddings, guiding and teaching her more and more every wedding they
would meet at. Shortly after that, Lynsey began working for the Creative
Bride assisting with décor prep and wedding set up. Over the next two years Lynsey
completed her degree in Hotel and Food Administration at the University of
Guelph and got her wedding planning certification through the Wedding Planning
Institute of Canada. She knew that wedding planning was where she belonged! In
order to be able to provide our Bride and Grooms with the best possible wedding
day she decided it would be critical to gain experience working for actual
wedding venues. She has been Catering and Wedding Manager at two of Ontario’s
Finest Inns, and Food and Beverage Assistant Manager (in charge of all
weddings) for a private golf club.
Lynsey’s extensive, and well-rounded
experience with weddings makes her an excellent wedding planner and a perfect fit for our creative and 'Out of the Box' brides. Lynsey is now the Lead Planner and heads up the wedding planning division of The Creative Bride and she is having a blast looking after her couples!
Lynsey, and the rest of The Creative Bride team, are looking forward to meeting new Brides and Grooms at the upcoming wedding shows. We will be at The Wedding Ring's Fall Bridal Expo on Sunday September 22 at The Waterloo Inn and the Wedding Trends Bridal Show on Saturday and Sunday October 19 & 20 at Bingemans.
